Wha-?? An Actual Film Update???

Why yes kiddies, I have some breaking news for Super Fantastico Zombie Shenanigans From Hell (albeit a small one)!

Now, I know it seems as if this film will never be made but, I assure you all that this is something I am very passionate about. The long delays have solely been due to financial constraints. Even a film made by and for friends such as this costs money that I do not currently have. With that being said, I have been saving and hope for Fall 2011/Spring 2012 to begin principal photography.

News on the script: The first draft is and has been done for a while now. The only reason it has not yet went to my script supervisor is that I have had many doubts concerning the locations that I had written for and chosen. You see, the film was primarily going to be shot in a small cabin in the woods (cliche I know). Although desolate and creepy, the problem here is electricity. There isn't any. The only way I could run the lighting as well as charge all the other equipment would be with a generator, but then I'd have shit sound quality since I lack the means to properly remove the noise from the finished product. So, long story short, I'm probably going to have to rework the entire script unless I can figure something out. If not I've got some ideas brewing about where I could set the film and still keep 95% of the scenes that I had originally.

Good news is, I have verbally come to agreements with several crew members and the lead actress that will working on the film along side me. And I have in mind several people (internationally even!) that can possibly film some short scenes for me i.e. webcam and news stuff, maybe radio too... who knows! Also, with this being yet another delay, I have agreed to work on a series of shorts called Kyle & Larry Are Dead with a former colleague to basically get my feet wet again so look for some updates on that too.
